1. The service
Resmoir is an app and website that rebuilds trips from the photos in your library, lets you edit them, and exports PDF reports, slideshows, map videos and share links. Resmoir is offered under the trade name AIoT Solutions and run by two individuals: Nguyen Tue Lam (the iOS app on the App Store) and Nguyen Ba Tu (the Android app on Google Play). Most features run on your device and need no account. An account is optional, for syncing between devices, sharing on the web and rendering video on the server. Some features may belong to a paid plan; the price and contents are shown in the app before you buy.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your own Google or Apple account and are responsible for keeping it secure.
- You must be 13 or older. Under 16 in Vietnam, a parent or guardian must agree.
- You can delete the account at any time in the app or by following the Delete account page. We purge server data within 24 hours.
- We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, and will say why unless the law prevents it.
3. Your content
Photos, videos, names, notes, trips and Stories you create are yours. You grant us the right to store, copy and display the parts you sync or share, solely to provide the service: syncing between devices, opening the share page for people with the link, rendering video at your request. That right ends when you delete the content or the account, except for backups that are deleted on schedule.
You confirm you have the right to share what you upload, especially photos of other people. A share page is public to anyone with the link; think before you send it.
We do not look at your content unless you ask for support, someone reports abuse, or the law requires it.
4. What you may not do
- Use Resmoir to track another person's whereabouts without their knowledge, or share a trip that reveals where someone else lives without their consent.
- Upload content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes the rights of others.
- Probe, overload, reverse-engineer or attack our servers; use our API outside the official app and website without an agreement.
- Resell or rent the service.
5. Machine-written text
Captions and narration in a Story may be drafted by a language model from your trip's metadata. They can be wrong. We constrain the model to say only what the data supports (place names must have a source, no invented events), but read it before sharing. Every sentence can be changed in the Story editor.
6. Maps, place names and routes
The basemap and place names use OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Routes and distances are estimates derived from photo locations and may differ from the way you actually went; estimated legs are drawn in a different colour in the app. Do not use Resmoir for positioning or navigation.
7. Pro plan and payment
- The free plan rebuilds trips, edits, exports PDFs, slideshows and on-device videos without limit. Free videos carry a small Resmoir logo in the corner; server-side rendering is limited to 3 renders per calendar month; 4K resolution is Pro only.
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription with two periods, monthly and yearly, in one subscription group, so switching period is an upgrade or downgrade, never a double purchase. Pro gives videos without the logo, 4K, unlimited server-side rendering and high-quality voices. The price is shown in the app and on the store in your currency before you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal and cancellation. The subscription renews until you cancel; the store charges the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends. Cancel at any time under Subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period, with no refund for the unused part unless the store's rules say otherwise.
- Payment and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their terms. We never receive, see or store your card number. Refund requests go to the store; when the store refunds, Pro ends.
- Tied to your Resmoir account. You must be signed in to buy, because Pro belongs to the account and follows you to other devices. Restore purchases in the Account tab brings it back on a new device. Only our server decides which account is Pro, based on the certificate the store issues.
Prices may change for the next period. The store tells you in advance and, where the law or the store requires it, asks for your consent before charging the new price; if you do not agree, the subscription ends when the current period does.
If we stop offering Pro or a feature that belongs to it, you keep using it until the end of the paid period or receive a refund for the unused part through the store.
8. No warranty, limited liability
Resmoir is provided as is. We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but do not promise uninterrupted service or that every rebuilt trip is accurate. Your original photos are not on our servers, so they cannot be lost there; keep your own backup of your photo library.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for all claims related to the service is limited to what you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
9. Changes and termination
We may change features or stop the service. If we shut it down, we give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data. These terms may be revised; a new version applies once posted here with a new date, and you will be told in the app of material changes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes go to the competent court in [[to fill in: province or city of the registered office]], unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
